User Data Deletion
Your data belongs to you. You can request full deletion of your Dirty Fire account and all associated data at any time — no questions asked. Send one email and we handle the rest within 30 days.
1. What data Dirty Fire stores about you
When you use Dirty Fire Productions, the following personal data may be stored in our systems:
- Creator account: email address, display name, bcrypt-hashed password, account creation date
- Platform connections: encrypted OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens for any platforms you connected (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), plus your platform username and numeric account ID
- Reel metadata: reel IDs, filenames, AI-generated titles, captions, and hashtags — no video files are uploaded to our servers
- Post queue & history: scheduled post records, timestamps, platform post IDs, and publish outcomes (success or error)
- Audit log: a record of all publishing actions taken on your behalf
- Server logs: IP addresses and request timestamps, retained for 30 days
2. How to request deletion
Send an email to privacy@dirtyfire.app with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:
- The email address registered to your Dirty Fire account
- Any platform usernames you connected (e.g. @keenobey on Instagram)
No other information is required. We will confirm receipt within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days.

3. What gets deleted
Upon a confirmed deletion request, we will permanently remove:
✓ Creator account
Your email address, display name, hashed password, and all account settings are deleted from our database.
✓ Platform connection records
All rows in our social_accounts table linked to your creator ID — including the platform name, username, and numeric account ID — are permanently deleted.
✓ Encrypted OAuth credentials
The AES-256-GCM encrypted access tokens and refresh tokens we received from TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube on your behalf are deleted. We also recommend revoking our access directly in each platform's connected-apps settings as a precaution.
✓ Reel metadata and post queue
All reel records, AI-generated metadata, and any queued or pending posts associated with your account are deleted. Your actual video files are stored on your own hardware and are unaffected.
✓ Audit log entries — anonymized
Historical audit log entries are anonymized (creator ID and platform references removed) rather than deleted outright, to preserve operational integrity of the system. No personally identifiable information remains in these records after anonymization.
4. Revoking platform access directly
You can also immediately stop Dirty Fire from accessing your social accounts without contacting us, by revoking OAuth access directly in each platform:
- TikTok: Settings → Security → Authorized Apps → remove Dirty Fire Productions
- Instagram / Meta: Settings → Apps and Websites → Active → remove Dirty Fire Productions
- YouTube / Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions → remove Dirty Fire Productions
Revoking platform access does not delete your Dirty Fire account or stored data. To remove all data, send the deletion email above.
5. Timeline
- Acknowledgement: within 48 hours of receiving your request
- Completion: within 30 days of acknowledgement
- Confirmation: we will email you once deletion is complete
